In its third year, the Michael Filipek Tennis Academy has established itself as one of the best camps in the Northeast. For the 2009 season, we are introducing an overnight camp in addition to our already successful day camp. The camps are located at two premiere Connecticut facilities; the overnight program will be held at Cheshire Academy and the day camp will take place at Choate Rosemary Hall.

We are proud to have entered the adidas tennis camps family, joining some of the finest camps in the Nation. The MFTA is located two hours from New York City and slightly over two hours from Boston. We provide our campers with a top quality experience tailored to their needs. Our camps feature:

Two prestigious New England boarding school locations
Day and overnight camps available
Our philosophy of a "Quality, not Quantity" approach
Balance of on court and off court training, with at least 4 hours of tennis per day
4:1 student to instructor ratio
Video analysis of all campers; personalized DVDs available
For beginner through intermediate players: focus on stroke technique and fun, skill building games
For advanced/competitive players: focus on match play, point construction, strategy & mental/emotional control
